Cookie policy
What we store in your browser on superlink.fyi and supr.fyi — and what we don't. This complements our Privacy policy.
At a glance
- We only set cookies needed to run the Service by default.
- No third-party tracking by default.
- We don't store visitors' raw IP addresses.
- Pro users can add their own tracking tools — they're responsible for those.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We also use comparable browser technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage.
The same principles described here apply to all of them.
2. Strictly necessary
These are required to run the Service and don't need consent under § 25 (2) Nr. 2 TTDSG.
- Authentication session — keeps you signed in to the dashboard.
- CSRF / security tokens — protect form submissions.
- Anti-abuse fingerprint — limits sign-up abuse from the same browser.
- Visitor poll memory — remembers a visitor's vote so they can't vote twice.
- Lead-form memory — remembers that a visitor already submitted a lead form on a Superlink.
3. Preferences
- UI state — e.g. theme preference and editor settings in the dashboard.
4. First-party analytics (aggregate)
For each Superlink, we collect aggregate visit metadata to help link owners understand traffic.
- Timestamp, referrer, user-agent, source.
- Coarse location, device type, OS, browser.
5. Pro-user tags on splash pages (consent required)
Pro users can inject their own tags on their own splash pages, including:
- Meta Pixel, Google Tag (GA4 / Ads), TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X.
- Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Clarity, Plausible, Segment.
- Custom HTML.
The Pro user who configured a tag is the controller for that tag and must obtain visitor consent where required by law (§ 25 (1) TTDSG, ePrivacy Directive, Art. 6 GDPR). The tag is governed by the respective provider's policy.
6. Managing cookies & storage
You can clear cookies and browser storage at any time via your browser's settings.
Disabling strictly necessary entries may break login or splash-page features such as poll voting and lead-form submission tracking.
7. More information
See our Privacy policy for a full description of how we process personal data.
