Terms of service

By using superlink.fyi, supr.fyi or any related domain (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Summary

The short version, in plain English. The full terms below are what actually apply.

  • You're responsible for the links and content you create.
  • Don't use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, or deceptive.
  • We can remove content and suspend accounts that break the rules.
  • Paid plans renew until you cancel. Cancel anytime in your settings.
  • We follow German law and the EU Digital Services Act.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Dominic Mueller, Mainzer Str. 19, 50678 Köln, Germany (“we”, “us”).

Full operator details are in the legal notice.

2. What the Service does

superlink.fyi lets registered users (“you”) create branded short links with a customisable splash page (each, a “Superlink”).

Available features depend on your plan.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16, or have your guardian's consent.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password safe — you're responsible for activity on your account.
  • One person or company per account. No account sharing.

4. Plans, billing & cancellation

Free and paid plans are described on the pricing page. Paid plans renew automatically through our payment provider until cancelled.

  • Cancel anytime from your billing settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We don't refund partial periods unless required by law.
  • Consumers in the EU keep their statutory right of withdrawal where it applies.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to what you upload or create through the Service — destinations, titles, descriptions, images, videos, PDFs, polls, and anything else (“Your Content”).

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store and display Your Content as needed to run the Service.

You're responsible for Your Content and your destination URLs. You confirm that you own or have the rights to use them, and that they don't break any laws or third-party rights.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to create, link to, or promote:

  • Anything illegal under German, EU or other applicable law.
  • Malware, phishing, scams, or deceptive destinations.
  • Sexual content involving minors (CSAM) — we report this to NCMEC and German authorities without notice.
  • Hate speech, incitement to violence, terrorist content, or content prohibited by §§ 86, 86a, 130, 131, 184b StGB.
  • Content that infringes IP, personality, or privacy rights.
  • Doxxing, harassment, threats, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • Spam, mass-automated link generation, or cloaking that bypasses our interstitial.
  • Anything we, in our reasonable discretion, consider seriously objectionable.

7. Rate limits & abuse protection

We apply rate limits, abuse detection and security measures to protect the Service and its users.

We may throttle, block or temporarily disable requests, links or accounts that look abusive, automated or harmful — even before a confirmed breach of these terms.

8. Reporting illegal or abusive links

Anyone can report a Superlink at superlink.fyi/report or by emailing hello@superlink.fyi.

We review reports without undue delay. Where appropriate, we may suspend, remove or delete the reported Superlink, disable the account, and forward materials to law enforcement — at our reasonable discretion.

9. Our role — hosting provider

We act as a hosting provider under § 10 DDG (formerly § 10 TMG) and Art. 6 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).

We don't pre-screen content and don't exercise editorial control. We become responsible for user content only once we have actual knowledge of illegality and fail to act expeditiously.

10. Indemnity

You'll defend and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, fines and reasonable legal fees arising from:

  • Your Content or your destination URLs;
  • Your use of the Service;
  • Your breach of these terms;
  • Your breach of any law or third-party right.

We may take over the defence of any such matter at your expense, in which case you'll cooperate with us.

11. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we don't warrant that defects will be corrected.

12. Limitation of liability

We are liable without limitation for:

  • Damages caused by intent or gross negligence;
  • Death, personal injury or damage to health;
  • Liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz);
  • Damages within the scope of any guarantees we have given.

For slight negligence, our liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of contract, and only for breach of a material contractual obligation (Kardinalpflicht).

Liability for slight negligence in breach of non-material obligations is excluded. The same limits apply to our representatives, employees and agents.

We aren't liable for damages caused by user content, third-party destinations, force majeure or events outside our reasonable control.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — if:

  • You breach these terms;
  • We're required to by law or court order;
  • Your account poses a security or legal risk;
  • We discontinue the Service.

Sections that should naturally survive termination (indemnity, liability, governing law, etc.) will continue to apply.

14. Changes to the Service

We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the Service, meet legal requirements, or maintain security.

Material changes that affect paid features will be communicated in advance by email or in-product notice.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice at least 30 days before they take effect.

Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

16. Communication

Email is the primary legal communication channel between you and us. We may use the email address linked to your account for contractual notices, billing, security alerts and legal communications.

Please keep your email address current in your account settings.

17. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

For users acting as merchants (Kaufleute), legal persons under public law, or special funds under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Köln (Cologne), Germany.

Mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of habitual residence remain unaffected.

18. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
